Empowering Innovation & Excellence
State-of-the-art teaching facilities including the Bloomberg Lab are also planned for Pokfield Campus. They prepare students for real-world situations by accessing platforms used by world-leading institutions and corporations to enhance their skills and gain hands-on experience in financial data research and analysis.
The digital infrastructure in the new campus will provide the HKU community and researchers with high-speed computational capabilities, facilitating cutting-edge research in digital transformation, AI and big data.
Sustainable Campus
Sustainable features have been integrated into the planning of the Pokfield Campus, including natural lighting and rainwater recycling systems. Greening elements such as at-grade planting, vertical greening and green roofs, combine to reduce the carbon footprint of the development.
The intelligent building management systems in the new campus allow for the adjustment of indoor lighting, heating, and air conditioning systems in real time, achieving the goal of energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.
