Connect the Community: Elderly Services Completed Successfully
To promote active ageing and intergenerational inclusion in the Pokfulam community, HKU partnered with the Caritas Mok Cheung Sui Kun Community Centre to launch the “HKU Cares” Student Sports Ambassador Pilot Programme in Q3 to Q4 2023. HKU students are trained to lead elderlies in the district to learn aerobics and experience new sports, improving their health and strengthening community connections.
Construction Progress – New Vehicular and Pedestrian Route
Vehicular and pedestrian access to Jockey Club Student Village II (Morrison Hall, Suen Chi Sun Hall, Lee Shau Kee Hall) from Pok Fu Lam Road has been closed and has become a part of the construction site since January 4, 2024. The route between JCSVII and Pok Fu Lam Road has been re-routed via the new Drum Ramp Building.
