Supporting HKU's Future Development
The Pokfield Campus, alongside other campus extension projects in the next 5 years, is the University’s strategic development to support innovation and entrepreneurship, collaborations and cross-disciplinary pursuits that will accelerate the growth of HKU into the future. It will be a new iconic landmark on Pokfulam Road, which will connect with and enhance the overall ambience of the community.
A New Home for the HKU Business School
As the HKU Business School is aspiring to become a premier business school in Asia with significant global influence, it needs more teaching and research space with innovative facilities to grow and nurture new generations of business leaders.

This new modern home will also provide sufficient communal space to foster interaction and incubation of ideas with business practitioners for a global business school that emphasises collaboration and outreach.
Facilitating Academic Exchange
The University has launched a global recruitment campaign to recruit leading scholars, and it will require more residential facilities to meet the needs of junior professoriate staff and their families, as well as visiting academics for academic exchange in the short to medium term. These premium accommodations will boost HKU’s competitiveness and international image and significantly expand our capacity to support intellectual exchange.
Modernising our Sports Facilities
The Flora Ho Sports Centre and Lindsay Ride Sports Centre have served the HKU community for decades and it is time to bring our facilities to the 21st Century. The buildings will be redeveloped and the Pokfield Campus will provide a multi-functional and contemporary sports complex for students, staff and the HKU community.
